Support hours

UK hours. Weekends off.

I want to be honest about this. OptitechAutomation is one operator. I'm available UK hours, Monday through Friday. Weekends off, mostly. Bank holidays off. If something genuinely critical happens — a Stripe webhook stuck, a booking page down, a customer's data corrupted — the alerts surface to me by SMS regardless of the time, and I respond. But for "I have a question about the Xero integration on a Saturday afternoon," it'll wait until Monday morning.

Monday to Friday

09:00 — 18:00 UK. Reply within 12 hours, usually within 4. Sales calls Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 — 16:00, 20-minute slots booked on the calendar.

Weekend & bank holiday

Email is monitored for critical alerts only. Reply within 24 hours for genuinely urgent customer-facing issues. For everything else, Monday morning.

Out-of-office cover

If I'm on holiday (rare, max two weeks/year and signposted 30 days ahead in the dashboard), an automated escalation routes urgent alerts to one of the contract engineers on retainer. For non-urgent contact, the auto-reply gives you a return-by date.
