The price, in the open

Joblogic

Joblogic publishes a genuine starting price, which most rivals do not: Standard from £45 per user a month, billed annually, with their own example pricing a five-user team at £225 a month. Premium and Enterprise are priced on request, in the call. Checked July 2026.

OptiTech Automation

Every tier is published. Standard is £599 a month plus £249 setup, a plan price rather than per user, covering up to ten on the tools, on 30-day rolling terms rather than an annual bill. Growth, £1,749, takes you to twenty-five.

At Joblogic’s published Standard rate, ten users is £450 a month, billed annually. Our Standard at ten users is £599, billed monthly. On the raw subscription they are cheaper at that size, and we say so plainly. The £599 buys a different machine: the booking page takes the job and the deposit before anyone lifts the phone, and every number on both our tiers is public.

Where Joblogic genuinely earns its keep

Joblogic is a serious UK platform, and it is strongest where work is commercial: contracts, SLAs, planned maintenance and compliance-heavy jobs for clients who demand paperwork. If your revenue comes from commercial contracts with service-level commitments, it deserves its reputation there.

We would rather tell you that on page one than have you discover it in month three. This comparison is for the other business: the domestic and small commercial team deciding whether it needs an enterprise-leaning platform at all.

The whole price against the starting price

Joblogic publishes more than most: a real from-price for its Standard plan. Above that, Premium and Enterprise are priced in the sales conversation. Checked July 2026, those numbers are not on the page.

We publish everything. Standard, £599 a month plus £249 setup for up to ten on the tools, Growth at £1,749 for up to twenty-five, and every tier above, all in pounds on the pricing page. Per-user annual billing against plan-priced monthly is a real difference in how the cost behaves as you hire: their published rate rises with every user you add, ours holds inside the band and takes one published step at the top of it. No step on either of our tiers needs a phone call to discover.

Booking-first is the structural difference

Joblogic, like almost everyone in this market, runs a quote and job workflow. Work arrives, the office processes it, the job goes out. OptiTech Automation starts earlier: your customer books a real slot online and pays a deposit at the moment of booking, by card, into your own Stripe account. The money never touches OptiTech Automation.

By the time you look up, the job is confirmed, part-paid and offered to the right worker by the auto-dispatch engine. For a domestic-facing team, that is the difference between an office and an evening.

Compliance records, stated carefully

Compliance is Joblogic’s home turf, and we will not pretend to out-gun it for commercial certificate workflows. What OptiTech Automation does is keep the operational records for compliance-led trades: Gas Safe job records, CP12 documents and Part P certificates held against the job, with the booking, dispatch and payment story wrapped around them.

If your core need is certificate production for commercial contract clients, weigh Joblogic seriously. If your core need is a diary that fills, deposits that arrive and a team that gets dispatched, that is ours.

The evening test

A simple way to choose between us: what happens at seven in the evening when a homeowner wants to book you? On a quote-and-job workflow, they fill a form or leave a voicemail and someone rings back tomorrow. On OptiTech Automation they book a real slot, pay the deposit, and the job is already offered to the right engineer before you have looked at your phone.

Commercial contract clients do not buy that way, which is why Joblogic is built as it is. Homeowners do, which is why we are built as we are. Pick the machine that matches your customer.

Sized for the team you actually run

Our centre is the UK trade business from a couple of vans to about 25 on the tools, run by an owner rather than an operations department. The price is per plan, not per seat, so hiring inside your band never raises the software bill. The worker app is offline-first, Xero sync is two-way, and the company is one accountable UK founder who answers every email.
